I have been fortunate to teach at Gahanna Middle School South for 26 years. For 24 years I co-coached our Power of the Pen team, and for many of those years we hosted a District or Regional tournament at our school. After switching from teaching ELA to health several years ago, I have been trying to phase out as a coach, but would be so sad to leave the organization altogether. Thankfully, I can keep my toe in the Power of the Pen pool through this position as Regional Director. I look forward to working with you all to support our young writers in the Central Ohio region!
